Where do the ingredients in your family food boxes come from?
We work directly with local and national farmers and suppliers to source the poultry and meat for our family food boxes. This allows us to deliver fresh, local ingredients to you, while also supporting Canada’s national food community, culture and economy.
Can I order a family food box if I have special dietary requirements?
You’ll find details of the ingredients in each of our recipes on our website, so you can see which meals suit your dietary preferences/needs. Customers using the auto delivery option can edit their “Taste Preferences" in their account, which lets us know which ingredients they do not wish to receive.
What if I’m not at home on the day my family food plan arrives?
If you’re not home on your chosen delivery day, our drivers will leave your delivery at your door. Alternatively, you can add more specific delivery instructions when you create your account.
Will my food stay fresh if I’m not home?
If you’re not home when your order arrives, your food will stay fresh until you return home later that evening. Our packaging includes an insulated liner and ice packs to keep your food fresh, although we recommend refrigerating your items as soon as you can.
Can I skip a week?
Of course. If you need to skip a week of your weekly family meal plan, because of a vacation for example, you can edit your delivery schedule in your account up to four weeks in advance. Skip a week or cancel anytime before the weekly cutoff on Wednesday the week before delivery at 11:59pm EST.
