The Opportunity

Chefs Plate is looking for an outstanding B2C Email Marketing Manager with experience crafting targeted email communications as well as personalized, automated nurture programs to join our talented and innovative marketing team. You will be responsible for managing the execution, measurement and optimization of our email marketing communications.

What you will be doing:

  • Build, implement, monitor and improve Chefs Plate email marketing strategy, test plans and automation plan development with deep collaboration and coordination across Marketing, Tech and Product
  • Drive the strategy and execution of all lead generation email programs
  • Create compelling email copy and templates to drive interest and conversions
  • Create segmentation strategies (based on past behaviors – email engagement, website interactions, registration) and personalization. Work with broader marketing teams to create emails, landing pages, forms, reports and other related infrastructure to support goals
  • Define and optimize key performance metrics and prepare relevant dashboards/reports to share results across the team and report up to senior management
  • Develop and manage a testing strategy to continuously optimize email, and complete campaigns
  • Build and execute A/B and multivariate test strategies to continually optimize copy, design and campaign performance on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor campaigns ongoing to ensure they are reaching KPI targets
  • Track, record and report email performance metrics on a weekly/monthly basis

Requirements

  • University Degree in Business or Communications (Marketing focus preferred)
  • Minimum 3-4 years of email marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience of email best practices including subject lines, messaging, segmentation, list management
  • Excellent copy writing skills as well as an eye for design
  • Hands-on experience with ESP (MailChimp) CRM platform for segmentation, email automation and email campaign management
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to develop and present strategic analysis that leads to actionable recommendations
  • Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a self-directed hands-on/execution capacity with demonstrated ability to execute successful projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and requests
